House Rules - Villa Gran Vista

• Check-in and check-out: On the day of arrival, you can generally access your room from 3:00 PM. On the day of departure, you must vacate your room by 11:00 AM. Adjustments to these times can be made upon request.

• The villa is non-smoking. Smoking is permitted outside on the terraces. Cigarettes may only be extinguished in ashtrays.

• Please be aware that the host also resides in the villa and is regularly visible depending on the guests' needs. The host's private areas, including the kitchen, are not accessible to guests.

• The host prefers to rent the villa as a bed and breakfast. The villa is not a party venue, and we therefore advise you to play music at an appropriate volume and to be respectful of the neighbors. Excessive noise from music or excessive shouting is not permitted. Please keep in mind that the neighbors next door regularly host tourists staying there year-round. You are expected to behave accordingly.

• Quiet hours must be observed on the property from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. These times are stipulated by Spanish law (within residential areas). Failure to comply with this rule, despite a request/warning, may result in termination of the rental agreement without a refund.

• Due to the persistent dry and hot weather, be careful with fire and the flammability of nature! Open fires are not permitted outdoors, with the exception of the designated BBQ.

• The villa is equipped with the necessary safety equipment and materials, such as smoke detectors, fire extinguishers, carbon monoxide detectors, a first aid kit, and emergency lighting. In the event of an emergency, please leave the property and ensure your own safety first. Then, always contact the host immediately. Telephone lists with the most important emergency numbers are available in all rooms.

• You are expected to handle equipment, furnishings, and the like properly, responsibly, and with care. In the event of damage, the provisions as stated in the General Terms and Conditions apply.

• Gas bottles for Villa Gran Vista are operated and managed externally, under lock and key. The host will replace empty gas bottles with full ones.

• Enjoy the swimming pool. Be careful with the shallow areas. We advise you and your fellow tenants to be careful in this area and preferably not to dive. Diving from the bar roof is strictly prohibited! Your host is not responsible for unsafe use of the pool by guests, and if minors are present, their parents/guardians are responsible for their supervision and safety.

• Bringing or consuming your own food and/or drinks is prohibited in/on the public areas of the villa. This also applies to the pool terrace. Drinks and snacks are available at the honesty bar.

• Food hygiene. The villa is located on a hill surrounded by nature. During certain times of the year, it is advisable not to leave food lying around as this will attract many ants and other vermin.

• Bringing pets to the villa? This is only permitted in advance with your host.

• The rental price includes bed and bath linens and will be changed upon your request.

• While water and electricity are included, it is advisable to use them sparingly. When leaving the room for an extended period, for example, for a day trip, the air conditioning must be turned off. If you do leave the air conditioning on, your host is authorized to turn it off again.

• More people in a room than agreed upon in the reservation, or the maximum number of people applicable to the room, is expressly prohibited without our permission, unless otherwise agreed in writing. This may result in early termination of the rental agreement on our part, without refund of rental fees.

• If an additional person is allowed, one extra bed will be provided. A surcharge applies per person per night.

• Moving cabinets and beds, as well as audio or television equipment, or taking any of the indoor inventory outside (except, of course, crockery, glasses, and cutlery for your outdoor meal) is not permitted.
